Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Depot Service and Sales Operations Manager to lead our parts, depot, and field service sales teams. This role ensures exceptional service delivery, customer satisfaction, and strong team performance across all service channels while actively driving service revenue. The ideal candidate will have a background in service and repair environments, proven leadership skills, and the ability to blend operational excellence with a consultative sales approach — promoting services, parts, and warranties as part of a complete customer care experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and support service technicians, depot staff, and service coordinators.
Conduct regular performance check-ins, training sessions, and skill development opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Service Operations & Sales Management
Oversee daily activities for field service calls and depot repairs, ensuring high-quality and timely service delivery.
Coordinate scheduling to optimize technician efficiency and minimize customer downtime.
Integrate sales opportunities into service workflows, including offering repairs, parts replacements, service packages, and extended warranties.
Partner with sales and support teams to convert service inquiries into revenue-generating opportunities.
Monitor service and sales performance metrics such as response time, job completion rates, and service sales volume.
Customer Experience & Revenue Growth
Serve as the escalation point for complex or urgent customer service issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services and parts that address customer needs and extend equipment life.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop service offerings that increase customer retention and lifetime value.
Implement customer feedback into operational improvements and sales strategies.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all field and depot activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and reinforce best practices across all service functions.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in service management or related leadership role.
Proven success managing multi-site or multi-channel service operations with a sales component.
Strong understanding of service workflows, scheduling, customer care, and sales integration.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in service management software and sales reporting tools.
