We’re looking for someone dependable—someone who shows up ready, sleeves up, and focused. The kind of person who takes pride in clean storerooms, organized walk-ins, and deliveries that don’t sit around waiting. If you’ve worked in kitchens, warehouses, or loading docks before, you already know: this job’s not for show. It’s about consistency, strength, and keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes. If you can lift a box, check a manifest, and keep things tight you’re our kind of person.
WHAT YOU'LL HANDLE:
· All Deliveries. You’ll check every item that rolls in—food, dry goods, FedEx boxes, whatever. You’ll inspect it, sign it in, and move it where it needs to go.
· Storage Like a Pro. Walk-ins, dry rooms, and freezers need to be clean, labeled, and organized. You’ll rotate stock, date it, and make sure nothing gets lost in the back.
· Requisitions & Restocks. Departments rely on you to pull what they need each day. That means communication, timing, and making sure the shelves don’t go bare.
· Keep It Moving. From the loading dock to the freight elevator, you’ll be in motion—and in control of your surroundings.
· Logs & Reports. Track deliveries, note shortages, and report problems to the chefs. Nothing gets past you.
· Heavy Lifting. You’ll be expected to move up to 100 lbs safely. This job is physical, so come prepared.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
· You’ve worked in a kitchen, warehouse, or similar hands-on environment
· You’re strong, dependable, and organized—with zero tolerance for clutter or disarray
· You know the basics of food safety and proper storage procedures
· You take ownership of your space and your schedule
· You don’t wait around to be told—if it needs doing, you’re already on it
· You’ve got a valid driver’s license and can operate a hand truck or dolly with confidence
HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Kitchen tools, machinery and equipment can be hazardous if used in an unsafe manner. Care must be taken to operate them properly at all times. The kitchen environment includes hot foods, pans, liquids and grease; and slippery, wet, or greasy walking surfaces, all of which pose a safety threat. Cleaning and sanitizing chemicals are used in the workplace, and must be handled carefully and safely to avoid injury or food contamination. In addition, all kitchen jobs involve some heavy lifting, carrying, or materials handling which can cause injury if not executed properly.
