About the Position:
The Employer Partnership Strategist develops and sustains employer partnerships to place New Freedom members into meaningful employment prior to graduation. The Employer Partnership Strategist serves as a primary liaison between the program and the business community, working to understand industry workforce needs, align them with program training outcomes, and ensure sustainable employment pathways in skilled trades and general labor. This role promotes the program’s mission, coordinates hiring initiatives, and ensures employer satisfaction through ongoing communication and partnership development. This role requires someone who is energetic, mission-driven, and people-centered, with a proven ability in high-volume outreach and job development metrics.
Work Environment and Conditions:
- Onsite within the office environment and within institutional facilities
- Requires travel to various institutional and other types of facilities
- Requires use of standard office equipment including but not limited to computer-use, monitors/screen, desk, chair, etc.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, etc.
