We’re looking for a motivated Commercial HVAC Installer Support Technician to join our team in Pensacola, FL and surrounding areas.

Competitive Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $25–$35 per hour ($52,000–$72,800 annually, based on a 40-hour workweek)
  • Overtime is authorized: with approval from the Supervisor
  • Per diem: $55 per day and lodging will be provided for authorized out-of-town travel and service.
  • On-Call Compensation: $150 for scheduled on-call duties
  • Paid Time Off: 48 hours to start, increasing to 128 hours with tenure
  • Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
  • 401(k) Match: 5% employer contribution

About the Role

As a Commercial HVAC Installer Support Technician, you’ll assist in the installation, maintenance, and replacement of HVAC systems. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians, ensuring precision, safety, and customer satisfaction across various commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support HVAC system installations and replacements
  • Perform routine maintenance and part replacements
  • Apply pipefitting, brazing, and soldering techniques
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve on-site challenges
  • Ensure accurate measurements and fittings
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE
  • Travel as needed for training and service calls
  • Maintain tools and submit expenditures promptly
  • Record work in service management systems
     
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of HVAC experience, especially in system installations
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Familiarity with HVAC tools and equipment
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship (preferred)
     

Physical Requirements

  • Climb ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Travel and overtime flexibility required
  • Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks
