The Technical Product Manager 3 works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the temples.

Responsibilities

A technical product manager in the Temple Department has a strong desire to create value for customers and has a love for great software products. It is a strategic position accountable for:

  • Managing the lifecycle of Temple Department software products that support the needs of department and temple leaders, employees, volunteers, local ecclesiastical leaders, and members.
  • Collaborating very closely with development and implementation partners to rigorously understand department and end-user customers, and to lead the development, creation, and execution of plans to meet their various needs.
  • Solving significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an examination of intangibles, utilizing creativity and exercising judgment. 
  • Measuring and owning the results and success metrics of software solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience; master’s degree preferred

Work Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 6+ years industry track record of successful product management
  • Solid experience delivering mobile solutions
  • Solid experience using and developing generative AI solutions

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities

  • Extensive verifiable experience developing business plans and requirements that shape the development and delivery of solutions to customers
  • Proven leadership with complex customer research and analysis of diverse cultures and international markets
  • Experience managing enterprise-level products/services
  • Experience with product management lifecycle tools and agile development principles
  • Experience with cross-functional and complex interdepartmental product or project teams
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills (language skills besides English are desirable)
  • Proven experience preparing and delivering succinct product presentations for all levels of leadership
