We are excited to announce an opening for a Member Services Representative. As a Member Services Representative, you will be assisting our clinics by answering phone calls from our patients in our customer service environment. You will be scheduling appointments or notating messages directly from our patients, working along a team of individuals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and written questions, concerns, and complaints regarding the clinics.
- Provide information on copays, medical bills, policies, processes, benefits, and services.
- Actively listen to patients and identify their needs.
- Recommend and promote services to current and potential patients.
- Investigate and resolve or escalate service and payment issues.
- Assess patient insurance coverage, applications, and requests.
- Document all inquiries and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a call center (medical field preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Must have strong customer service skills and enjoy working with people.
- Must be able to deliver exceptional member service experiences and resolve inquiries and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner.
Preferred:
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Experience ECW- eClinicalWorks (Preferred)
