The Recruiting Coordinator identifies qualified candidates for employment opportunities, performs phone screens, and makes recommendations to various hiring departments after comparing candidate's skills to the applicable job descriptions. Responsibilities also include assisting candidates through the application and hiring process, and acting as the face of the Company at public events and job fairs. Additional responsibilities include managing drug test results, external job postings, and maintaining candidate data within the Applicant Tracking Software system.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Compare and evaluate possible courses of action in regards to an individual candidate's (multiple) application(s), and compare candidate's skills to the applicable job description(s). Direct candidate to position they are most qualified for, even if they did not apply for it.
3. Contact candidates, follow-up with candidates in a timely manner.
4. Conduct phone screening with candidates to determine whether they are a good fit for position based on the hiring department's needs.
5. Schedule external candidate interviews with hiring departments.
6. Assist candidates through application and hiring process.
7. Project Graton Resort & Casino's public face at off-site events and job fairs.
8. Job shadow positions on the property to gain better understanding of job's essential functions, and build relationships with hiring departments.
9. Maintain external candidate database, including status updates and candidate communications.
10. Manage drug test results and facilitate communications to hiring departments and candidates when necessary.
11. Execute proactive recruiting functions by reaching out to perspective candidates and getting them to apply.
12. Other job related duties, as assigned by management.
