About the Role: OSP Foreman
As an OSP Foreman, you’ll be responsible for leading and supervising construction teams in all aspects of Outside Plant (OSP) projects. From managing daily tasks to ensuring the safety of your crew, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every project is completed efficiently and safely. You’ll be the go-to person for organizing crew schedules, coordinating supplies, and managing resources to ensure deadlines are met. With your expert leadership, you’ll guide your team through each phase of the project while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of construction workers and contractors—make sure everyone is on the same page and delivering their best work.
- Coordinate daily tasks, adjust priorities when necessary, and ensure the smooth flow of operations based on weather, supply, and personnel.
- Train your crew on safety procedures, proper tool usage, and operating equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring the team works efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Handle customer communications, including addressing concerns and resolving issues.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA guidelines, company policies, and local regulations.
- File reports—track daily production, vehicle inspections, damage reports, and receipts.
- Make field decisions quickly and efficiently—be the person who steps up when changes are needed.
- Oversee coordination of tasks across four key divisions (splicing, aerial, underground, drop) to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- 2-4 years of experience as a construction or outside plant foreman, or in a similar leadership role.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- OSHA, CPR, or CDL certifications are preferred (but not required).
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills—you know how to motivate your team and keep things running smoothly.
- Excellent time-management skills—you’re able to keep projects on schedule, even when things get busy.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
- A keen eye for detail—you notice the little things that make a big difference in safety and quality.
Additional Notes:
- On-call availability may be required—respond to emergency calls between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Weekend, night, and overnight travel may be required depending on the project.
- This is a field-based position—you’ll work outdoors in all kinds of conditions, leading your team right where the action is.
