Duties
-Leads the growth and sustainment of the Extended Tether Program (ETP). -Serves as Senior USAF representative for ETP issues in service, Joint, DoD and IC forums. -Manages, plans and directs the integration of ETP into current and future planning efforts consistent with AF ISR support to operational and strategic requirements and needs. -Develops GO-level briefings, background papers, and staff packages for delivery to HAF Directorates, MAJCOM staffs, PEO Digital, Joint and IC organizations to articulate AF ISR position on various ETP issues.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the quality experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: possess a mastery of a comprehensive range and firm knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies associated with the following disparate professional fields: data architecture, transport, intelligence acquisition and intelligence surveillance reconnaissance operations. Ideal Candidate: Existing Air Force GG-0132-13/14, with strong acquisition intelligence or ISR operational experience. Separated/retired active-duty Air Force intelligence personnel with a minimum of 10 years operational intelligence/ISR experience is highly desirable. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. In depth knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and interrelationships of the national IC, DoD; acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of life-cycle management of programs. 2. Knowledge of the program architecture, doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to assigned program(s) and/or project(s) and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the federated IC, DoD, Joint, Services and enterprises including an expert level knowledge of the program. 3. Knowledge of multi-domain operations and information operations missions and awareness of the latest advancements in technology to initiate corrective or preventative action to ensure optimum performance of subordinate units. 4. Knowledge of planning, programing, budgeting and execution processes, acquisition policy and guidance, and the roles and responsibilities and national research laboratories, acquisition program offices, life-cycle management, and system testing enterprises. 5. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, automated systems and tools and methods used to identify and analyze intelligence information to produce programing initiatives, identify targeting and intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
