Join a professional team working to connect the real estate market and lending needs of prospective homeowners. As the Mortgage Loan Closer you will be responsible for handling al mortgage loan files in all aspects of closing. You will assemble and verify documents and generate CD settlement statements in accordance with all industry regulations. You will also arrange closing and disburse funds as well as ensure the mortgage meets financial industry regulations.

- Familiar with mortgage concepts, processes, and procedures.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with basic legal documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to organize and prioritize workflow.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and highly detail oriented.
What You'll Do
- Prepare closing instructions and assemble documents required by title insurance company.
- Contact all applicable parties to request documents.
- Review and verify accuracy and thoroughness of closing package ensuring compliance.
- Generate CD settlement statements.
- Record loan information and report related government forms.
- Transfer documents accurately and securely to investor prior to and post-closing.
- Communicates with all parties as needed and responds to inquiries regarding closing.
Education and Experience
- Associates or bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years' experience in mortgage loan closing.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions.
