Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Courses in Phlebotomy
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
- Moderate computer skills
- Understanding of proper patient identification processes
- Technical aptitude.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Phlebotomy skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional education in a medical or biological field
- Courses in psychology, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
- Previous lead experience highly desirable
- Experience training phlebotomists
