We’re not looking for an HR paper-pusher — we want a hunter who can fill sales seats fast in one of the most competitive industries out there.


If you’ve got 2+ years of real recruiting experience and can find high-performance salespeople without relying on a job posting, we want to talk. 


 

About the Role
We’re a fast-growing freight brokerage with big accounts, a strong reputation, and aggressive growth plans. We need a full-time, in-house recruiter who can own the entire hiring pipeline for local sales talent — from sourcing to signed offer — and keep our bench full year-round.


This is not an HR generalist role. Your mission is simple: find and hire producers who can grow our book of business.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, and present high-quality local candidates for brokerage sales roles (entry-level & experienced).
     
  • Build and maintain a constant pipeline of sales talent to fill current and future openings.
     
  • Network relentlessly in the Cincinnati/NKY area — job fairs, industry events, cold outreach, referrals.
     
  • Run the full recruiting process: posting ads, direct outreach, phone screens, in-person interviews, offer negotiation.
     
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, 90-day retention rates).
     
  • Partner with leadership to understand headcount needs by quarter.
     
  • Sell our culture and growth story to attract top performers — position us as the “must work here” shop for local freight talent.

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years recruiting experience (3+ years preferred) in logistics, freight brokerage, or high-volume sales recruiting.
     
  • Proven ability to hunt for candidates — not just post ads and wait.
     
  • Strong local network in sales, transportation, or logistics industries (a plus).
     
  • Comfortable making 50+ outbound touches/day to candidates when needed.
     
  • Results-focused — thrives on hitting targets and getting seats filled with the right people.
