CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Orders and Inpatient Analyst opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of the Epic Beaker implementation or optimization project, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget.
Serve as the primary liaison between clinical laboratory stakeholders, IT teams, and vendor resources to coordinate all project activities.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to understand laboratory workflows and translate them into Epic Beaker configuration and build specifications.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and resolve issues or risks that could impact project success.
Coordinate and lead testing efforts, including unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing for Beaker workflows.
Oversee training plan development and execution for laboratory and clinical end users.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Skills:
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex healthcare IT implementations.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in documenting project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and deliverables.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Familiarity with Epic Beaker workflows and integration points with other Epic modules.
Experience:
5+ years of healthcare IT project management experience, including direct involvement in Epic Beaker implementations or upgrades.
Demonstrated experience working with laboratory operations and clinical workflows.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Epic Beaker certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.00 to $90.00 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
