As a key connector between airport technology teams, support staff, and business partners, the Airport Systems IT Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of airport operations. Position Duties
RELATIONSHIPS
Supervisory – Reports to Assistant Director of Airport Systems, Information Technology Department
Organizational – Frequent contact with all MAC staff in Airside, Landside, Terminal Ops, Ops Optimization and IT
External Business – Frequent contact with vendors and consultants, and airline staff
JOB DUTIES
- Assess the effectiveness of business systems by interviewing users, analyzing workflows, defining solution objectives, and evaluating system functionality
- Identify service gaps and measure the impact of proposed solutions on business operations
- Provide software and hardware recommendations based on industry best practices, analysis of business needs, and emerging technologies
- Configure, test, and set up applications to align with evolving business requirements
- Monitor the lifecycle of business system changes and produce detailed reports for management as needed
- Provide Level 2 support for critical airport systems, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Assist in providing system backup and restore procedures
- Assist in ensuring vulnerability patching of key systems, with a focus on minimizing impact to 24/7 operations
- Assist in creating and maintaining system documentation
- Assist in providing analytics on system usage and resources
- Maintain ongoing expertise in airport systems software through continuous learning and serve as a subject matter expert
- Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Airport Management, or equivalent experience
- Five years supporting enterprise class applications
- In lieu of a degree, nine years of experience supporting enterprise class applications or other combination of education and relevant experience.
- Solid interpersonal skills, technically curious and self-motivated
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with the operation and functionality of Airside and airfield operations, parking and commercial vehicle operations, airport terminal operations, public address, digital displays, and common use airport system
- Knowledge of CFR Part 139, airport and airline operations
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Excellent customer service skills with strong troubleshooting, research, and analysis skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information to the end users in an easily understood manner
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to commute between job sites
