Arconic is seeking a Modern Workplace Architect Lead who will create, maintain, and support Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint environments and systems. The role will be part of the Corporate IT Enterprise Applications group, reporting to the IT Manager, Modern Workplace.
Position Profile
The Modern Workplace Architect Lead role is responsible for managing and optimizing SharePoint environments and leveraging the Power Platform to enhance business processes. This includes administrating, designing, planning, and execution of system design changes, updates, and other initiatives. This role will also support and train users, assess and resolve performance problems, maintain permissions, and provide technical support.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Oversee activities to implement ongoing updates. Determine any major changes to the applications, such as new features or underlying architectural changes that might require testing or infrastructure verification prior to implementation.
- Partner with architecture and client teams to define and develop strategy and deliver results in line with the strategy.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Security Team to implement advanced security features of Office 365, including Data Loss Prevention, Rights Management, AI, and eDiscovery.
- Implement AI governance to monitor, classify, and secure SharePoint data, ensuring compliance and automating remediation of security risks.
- Partner with the infrastructure teams to ensure continued stability and support of the Microsoft Applications and on-prem environments.
- Manage incoming SNOW queue for support and shared mailboxes and Teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate to automate and streamline business processes
- Provide one-on-one or group training sessions as needed.
- Deployment and decommission of items; Team sites, OneDrive, Teams, and other areas related to SharePoint or the O365 SharePoint Admin Center.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions for mid-size projects using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Perform development activities in the Power Platform environment, PowerShell or other programming tools.
- Assist with support and conversion of forms and workflows created with SharePoint Designer or InfoPath to the Power Platform
- Document new processes, maintain existing knowledgebases and process documentations.
- Troubleshoot complex SharePoint/Power Apps issues, - gather information, troubleshoot and involve appropriate team members as needed.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT experience in application or infrastructure area
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of Hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math or related field from an accredited institution
- Expert knowledge of the functionality of SharePoint 2016, SE, as well as SharePoint Online
- Experience with SharePoint workflow processes and Power Platform capabilities
- Expert knowledge of the creation and customization of web parts using out-of-the-box standard functionality
- Understanding vendor vision and direction and staying current on trends and industry best practices
- A solid understanding of systems analysis, design, and programming techniques.
- Strong customer relationship / skills
- Strong human relation skills and be able to interact with internal and external customers, other analysts, and management.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of supporting InfoPath forms and Power Platform tools.
