Position Summary:
Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include complete authority within all gaming departments under the auspices of the Table Games Shift Manager, Table Games Manager, and Assistant General Manager.

In this Role:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort's “Unsurpassed Service” standards at all times.
- Responsible for Company assets.
- Responsible for all rules, policies, and procedures related to all gaming and casino credit activity and ensuring that all shifts are consistent in adhering to the same rules, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct meetings with Table Games Supervisor and Dealers on a timely basis to review policies, procedures, and company events and dates.
- Analyze all gaming percentages on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Review all complimentaries to ascertain justification as to their effectiveness in contributing to the overall profitability of Gun Lake Casino Resort.
- Complete all duties and responsibilities of a Table Games Pit Manager, Floor Supervisor, and Dealer as needed.
- Work in direct cooperation with the Surveillance and Compliance Teams to ensure asset protection and the continued profitability of Gun Lake Casino Resort.
- Maintain System of Internal Controls and audit procedures for gaming chips, equipment, cards, and operational reports.
- Conduct investigations into the resolution of variances to ensure compliance, protection of company assets, and game integrity; assess the integrity of all games and take corrective action when required.
- Generate and review Table Games activity and other special reports.
- Build a friendly attitude among Table Games staff by setting a consistent example of hands-on, lead-by-example hospitality toward guests and staff following company Service Standards.
- Provide input and resolution concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention in order to maintain the highest levels of operation with staffing, limits, and game pace audits.
- Build an effective team of qualified and productive management, supervisory personnel, and dealers to achieve positive departmental results.
- Teach effective training programs and participate in the continual development of the Table Games department.
- Assist in the training and development of Tribal Member employees following Gun Lake Casino Resort Tribal Member Preference policy.
- Direct the distribution of complimentary hotel rooms, meals, and other discounts or free items given to players based on their length of play and betting totals.
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure that games and tables are adequately staffed for each shift, arranging for staff rotations and breaks, and locating substitute employees as necessary.
- Resolve guest opportunities.
- Review operational expenses, budget estimates, and collection reports for accuracy.
- Explain and interpret house rules, such as game rules and betting limits.
- Interview internal and external candidates for employment.
- Remove suspected cheaters, skilled players such as card counters, and other players who may have systems that shift the odds of winning in their favor.
- All other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years of Table Games supervisory experience.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in Table Games.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
- Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to sit at a computer for a long period of time.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned areas. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
