SALARY RANGE
$21.96 - $27.43 Hourly

BENEFITS
- 4-Day Work Week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade is required with two (2) years of college course work at an accredited college being preferred. 

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of recreation programming or facility maintenance experience is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

THE POSITION
The Community Services & Recreation Leader I will serve as a key member of the City’s Community Services & Recreation Department and will contribute by supporting the planning and execution of inclusive, diverse, family-friendly events. This individual will do so with a “can do” attitude and “get it done” approach to work in a fast-paced environment while working closely with a talented, energetic, and highly engaged team of City talent.

Adding value to the Community Services & Recreation Division by supporting and promoting community events that are inclusive, engaging, and designed to foster a sense of belonging, celebrate diversity, and encourage active participation among all residents.

Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of relevant training, education, experience and writing skills as presented in the application, resume, cover letter and supplemental questions. The process may include interviews and/or performance tests. A background investigation including, LIVESCAN fingerprinting and verification of previous employment. Applicants will be required to submit verification of the legal right to work in the United States. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment letter, applicants are required to complete a drug and/or alcohol test at the time of their pre-employment physical. All employees are required by law to sign a loyalty oath to the United States and the State of California Constitution at time of hire.
