Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment & Coordination
- Partner with senior data leadership to align foundational data strategy with Moody’s Analytics product and segment strategies.
- Co-develop supporting strategies with peers across horizontals, identifying roadmap intersections and synergies.
- Consolidate and prioritize segment needs to inform the broader data strategy.
- Voice of the Customer & Commercial Advocacy
- Act as the voice of the customer and commercial segments within the Data Estate, ensuring that evolving customer needs are reflected in data priorities and solutions.
- Liaise with cross-functional business and data partners to translate market and client feedback into actionable data initiatives.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to construct compelling business cases that outline the value and necessity of data investments.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Liaise with domain owners, product delivery, and operational teams to assess data requirements for new solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, proactively identifying risks and proposing solutions to meet business and data quality objectives.
- Champion a data-driven culture by establishing best practices for prioritization and alignment.
- Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Stay abreast of evolving data landscapes, including emerging sources, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure customer requirements are reflected in data policies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or Statistics.
- Minimum of 10 years in data strategy roles, ideally with experience in AI/ML projects and elite technology strategy consultancies.
- Proven track record in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement.
- Deep fluency in data governance, ethical and regulatory standards, and security/access management.
- Expertise in commercial data set strategy and vendor selection.
- Exposure to financial services domains including Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management.
- Strong understanding of industry data sources and financial metrics across varied asset classes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Superior leadership and matrix management capabilities.
Annual base salary gross: $198,300.00 to $317,300.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
