You Are:
The Network Engineer will provide experienced level technical support in Network planning, implementation, and operations. You will provide support for assembling, racking, configuring, transporting and implementing new facility builds/network. The Network Engineer is responsible for the engineering, implementation, operation, and troubleshooting network branch office infrastructure.
The Work:
- Provide backup support to the Network Team Lead and assist in ensuring all service and operational level agreements are met
- Work with network cable vendors or circuit providers to support network infrastructure
- Support network upgrades to hardware and software
- Support Corporate Audio Visual Team with network related configurations and troubleshooting
- Support Corporate Physical Security Team with network related configurations and troubleshooting
- Complete network refreshes & upgrades
- Handle acquisitions IT Infrastructure transitions
- Occasional domestic travel will be required
- Field work and traveling within US. Bulk office are in DC area. 25%-40% outside of DC area
Here's What You Need:
- Experience in LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high-availability environments
- Experience in large scale LAN/WAN switching and routing implementation and operation with specific knowledge of VLAN and VPN technologies
- Experience with LAN traffic management techniques
- Experience in IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking and information system security principles, practices, and technologies
- Experience working with core Internet routing protocols and services
- Experience in Layer 1-3 troubleshooting
- Experience in creating and troubleshooting branch office firewall policies

- Experience in Asset Management processes
- Experience in ServiceNow
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a corporate environment
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking, status reporting, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to documentation detail

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
