The Content Assistant will provide critical logistical and editorial support to the firm across a range of content development initiatives, focused on the firm’s robust awards and submissions processes as well as recruiting content-related processes. This highly collaborative role involves extensive internal and external outreach on awards- and recruiting-related matters; it is an ideal role for a highly organized, detail-oriented candidate interested in exploring/advancing a career in marketing writing, content project management and employer branding.
Responsibilities:
Monitor for awards submission process initiation announcements and maintain up-to-date listing of awards with criteria and awards-related trackers
Monitor for recruiting-related content submissions and maintain project-related calendars
Develop schedule/execution plan for awards and recruiting content submissions
Support submission development and approvals efforts
Liaise with award-granting and recruiting-focused publications around upcoming content projects
Handle project management, development and updating of routine awards and directories and recruiting-related profiles
Draft internal news items related to directories and awards
Generate awards summaries/reports/curated lists as requested for pitches and other marketing uses
Maintain and organize awards and recruiting content-related archives and database within the firm’s content management system
Update marketing database with awards content post-submission
Contribute to other editorial and content-related marketing projects in collaboration with the Content team, the Business Development and Communications functions, and operations teams across the firm.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of a year full-time work experience preferred, ideally including a role that involved a strong project-management component; experience working in the professional services or legal industry a plus
Strong communications and writing skills
Demonstrated copyediting and proofreading skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities to meet time-sensitive deadlines, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously, including confidential matters
Understanding of the pressures of working in a corporate environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Resourceful, driven and professional attitude with a genuine desire to learn and commitment to ensuring team success
Schedule:
This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance with the schedule set forth by the department.
Salary:
$60,000-$65,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
