We are expanding to a second Izzio Artisan Bakery facility in Thornton, CO.
The Inventory Control Specialist’s responsibilities include issuing materials to open production orders and closing those production orders. They will investigate errors and inconsistency related to inventory movements and the material staging process, providing root-cause analysis to the warehouse and planning departments.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Issues materials to production based upon bills of material, planned production quantities, and reported product produced.
• Investigates inconsistencies related to the material usage process.
• Assists in the continuous improvement of processes and documents related to the material usage system.
• Generates and sends reports using SAP business one ERP with BatchMaster add-on.
• Works with operations to optimize the physical staging of materials within designated locations.
• Monitors and enforces FIFO policy within the warehouse.
• Assists in the enforcement of inventory-related policies by addressing policy violations with management and directly with employees.
• Under the direction of the planning department, assists in the implementation and assignment of regular cycle counts within the warehouse.
• Assists in all full inventory counts.
• OSHA certified forklift operation.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
• Represent a professional, respectful, and courteous manner when interacting with co-workers, members, and suppliers. Teamwork skills are critical.
• Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
Must be flexible to reassignment within the North Denver area

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent inter-departmental communication skills
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Basic knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of SAP business one strongly preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or proven work history of 5+ years in the food industry
• Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
Physical Requirements:
• Hybrid Role of Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk/computer work as well as standing for prolonged periods in multi-temp warehouse.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.

Compensation is based on level of experience, including education, years of experience compared to requirement and food manufacturing industry experience. The range provided is a guideline and does not mean that all candidates or current employees will qualify for the high end of the range.
