The Home Delivery Manager oversees the daily operations of the home delivery warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient order procurement, and timely delivery of products to customers. This position is responsible for managing warehouse staff, coordinating order fulfillment processes, and stepping in as a route driver when needed to maintain service levels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance operational oversight with the flexibility to provide direct delivery support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring all orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Manage product procurement to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Monitor inventory quality and coordinate with suppliers on product issues or discrepancies.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, equipment maintenance schedules, and clean workspace standards.
  • Delivery Operations Support
  • Provide route relief as needed, operating delivery vehicles to fulfill customer orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in planning and optimizing delivery routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to customer needs effectively.
  • Maintain proper licensing and adhere to DOT and company driving safety standards.
  • Leadership & Staff Management
  • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse and delivery staff.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting accountability and high performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to support employee development.
  • Administrative & Reporting
  • Track and report key performance metrics for inventory, order fulfillment, and delivery.
  • Work closely with the operations team to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Manage warehouse budgets, supply orders, and equipment needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a delivery-based operation.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Obtain and maintain and valid DOT Medial Card
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems, inventory tracking, and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperatures.
