Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Manager in Training (MIT) to join our Southern Utah car rental team. This is a hands-on leadership development role designed to prepare you for a future growth within the company. As an MIT, you’ll gain experience in all aspects of rental operations—customer service, fleet logistics, team leadership, and revenue management—while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
· Deliver exceptional service to customers at the rental counter, on the lot, and over the phone.
· Assist with resolving customer issues and ensure a seamless rental experience.
· Promote company products and services, including upgrades, coverages, and fuel options.
Operations & Logistics:
· Learn to manage daily rental operations, including vehicle check-in/check-out, lot coordination, and fleet movement.
· Monitor vehicle availability and maintenance schedules to meet customer demand.
· Support efforts to keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for rental.
Team Leadership:
· Work closely with the Branch Manager to supervise, train, and motivate frontline staff.
· Learn best practices in scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
· Develop leadership and decision-making skills through mentorship and on-the-job training.
Business Development:
· Learn how to manage branch profitability, control expenses, and maximize fleet utilization.
· Participate in local marketing and customer relationship-building initiatives.
· Understand and analyze key performance metrics such as sales targets, utilization rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Utah driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Open to working flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and longevity with previous work history.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
