Description

Summary of Purpose

The Campus Pastor leads a local church (congregation) in the CTK Network, equipping believers for the work of the ministry and expanding God’s Kingdom through the preaching of the Gospel and tangible service in the local community.

CTK church campuses exist to:

  • Reach those far from God
  • Disciple, catalyze, and empower the body to reach the lost and make disciples
  • Serve the community, being a testament of God’s care to the world

Evidence of success looks like:

  • New people responsibly empowered to do the work of the ministry
  • Currently-activated disciples growing in God and leadership of self, others
  • Growing activity in the community (quantitative), and response from the community (qualitative)

Growth in numbers is not the motivating metric, but healthy things grow; therefore, a campus pursuing a clarified vision will be evidenced by growth in influence, depth of experience with God, multiplication of disciple-makers, and growth in active members.
