The Project Manager, Commercialization is a new role and directs the end-to-end commercialization and launch of new products for an assigned brand or category. The Commercialization Project Manager acts as a strategic interface between cross-functional teams—including R&D, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain.

 

 

As the Project Manager you will:

  • Direct cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects and activities to meet the revenue, volume, growth, cost out, and quality priorities within a brand/category
  • Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals, tasks, and resources requirements
  • Resolve or facilitate the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional groups
  • Develop methods to monitor project progress and provide corrective actions, as necessary.
  • Ensure that project scopes and timing take into consideration minimizing write offs and reducing complexity
  • Ensure that suitable risk assessment and contingency planning for key projects takes place, is communicated and agreed upon by all stakeholders and is acted on if necessary to keep the project on track or to accelerate the project if the business need exists.
  • Present crucial project updates and timelines to business leaders and key stakeholders.

 

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience within CPG
  • Project Management Certification– External certification (PMP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Stage-Gate/Innovation Governance process
  • Experience maintaining share point team sites and Smartsheet

Reporting to the Director, Customer Planning & Strategy, you will serve as the primary liaison between brand and customer teams—translating strategic vision into actionable plans that deliver sales and profit growth. Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.  Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.  The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 with an annual bonus.
