Role Summary

Receiving Coordinator – 3rd Shift
�� Location: MANN+HUMMEL USA, INC., 6700 South Sprinkle Rd., Portage, MI 49002 (South Campus)

 

As a global leader in filtration, MANN+HUMMEL delivers innovative solutions across automotive, industrial, clean air, and water sustainability sectors. We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Receiving Coordinator to join our 3rd shift team and help drive the accurate flow of materials to support fast-paced production needs.

Main Tasks

  • Coordinate the receipt, packing, transportation, and distribution of purchased and work-in-process materials to designated work cells.

  • Supervise Receiving drivers, manage timecards, coordinate shift coverage, and administer corrective actions when necessary.

  • Collaborate with the Receiving Supervisor to train team members and ensure consistent execution of assigned duties.

  • Accurately enter supplier packing lists and related documentation into SAP.

  • Operate all types of material handling equipment safely, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts.

  • Manage efficient truck loading and unloading operations.

  • Execute warehouse management protocols for transferring materials from the receiving dock to the purchased parts warehouse.

  • Maintain material organization according to FIFO principles.

  • Ensure safe working practices and promote a safety-first culture.

  • Prioritize urgent tasks and maintain productivity in fast-paced environments.

  • Support production by pulling and delivering materials in a timely manner.

  • Use scanning and warehouse management systems (WM) to track material movement.

  • Monitor and manage trailer-stored inventory to ensure availability for production.

  • Perform other material handling duties as assigned.

Your Profile

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

  • Ability to pass internal Fork Truck License training

  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills

  • Dependability, strong attendance, and ability to work with various teams

  • Availability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP or warehouse management systems

  • Previous leadership experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
