This position is open to current Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) staff only.

The below vacancies have has become available at Holbrook Fire Station. 

  • Substantive Crew Manager 
  • Temporary Crew Manager 

 

This role is conditioned to the On-Call duty system and will be filled based on eligibility and performance.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service are looking to fill this vacancy with a motivated and committed individual who can demonstrate strong organisational values in line with SCC and SFRS.

In your statement, please state your current PDR placement and explain how you are eligible to apply for this position.

  • Question 1: Tell us about a time when you have supported or managed the operational availability of the appliance, resources, and equipment and the process you followed?
  • Question 2: Describe a time when you have taken supported or planned a training event for the section/individual, ensuring that competence is maintained and the process you followed?
  • Question 3: Provide an example of when you have assisted the Crew or Watch Manager to maintain the overall effectiveness of appliance and resource availability? 
  • Question 4: Tell us about a time when you have been appointed a role within the Incident Command System? This could be whilst attending an Incident or training event?
