Our community consists of 300 Independent Living Residential Units, a 33-bed (Medicare/private) Skilled Nursing Healthcare Unit, a 40-bed Assisted Living Unit, and 34-bed Memory Support Unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain floors and carpets, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
  • Remove trash and debris from facility interiors and grounds.
  • Prepare vacant rooms for new residents and provide deep cleaning in private residences.
  • Keep housekeeping equipment, supplies, and utility rooms clean, orderly, and in good working condition; report any issues promptly.
  • Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Interact respectfully and courteously with residents, guests, visitors, and staff.


Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment preferred.
  • Floor care skills and knowledge of cleaning supplies/equipment; able to follow safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communicator with residents, staff, families, and visitors; demonstrates a positive, engaging demeanor.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and exert up to 50 lbs. for assisting residents; able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
  • Commitment to service excellence and interest in working in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).
  • COVID-19 vaccination required for the health and safety of residents and staff.
