Full-Time | Wednesday-Sunday 8:00am-4:30pm but may vary due to business needs.

Pay: $66,497.60 Annually

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Laundry Operations Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising the work of the laundry staff to assure proper staffing, sanitary conditions, safe use of equipment, total overall productivity of laundry attendant teams, and production and delivery of linen and terry orders to respective resorts. You will report to the Laundry Operations Senior Manager.

 

Primary Tasks:

1.       Develop maintenance associates in the laundry facility in their technical, and administrative skills while developing the CNO values. Create and provide staff training and certifications for production teams to create and increase expertise in the laundry facility.

2.       Manage staff which includes coaching, directing employee leave requests, scheduling, and performance management to include discipline, hiring, firing, and payroll. Manage Laundry Operations Senior Managers associates during their absence.

3.       Train Laundry Staff in all areas of linen care and safe operation of commercial laundry machinery assuring that laundry tasks are completed following procedures.

4.       Maintain operational record keeping for inventory, production levels, scheduling, shift bids, requests off, shift change requests, and other records.

5.       Ensure compliance with cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery at the lowest possible cost.

6.       Manage all expenses related to the laundry production team, including the ordering and maintenance of linen and terry pars inventories of the properties to assure that financial goals are met.

7.       Create procedures, certification processes for equipment usage, job specialties, associate onboarding processes, work with Operational Training Department to institute new programs as applicable to the Laundry Environment.

8.       Review or reject invoices to ensure accurate pricing and items received.

9.       Order necessary supplies ensuring workers have the equipment and tools necessary to do their jobs. 

10.   Follow established procedures of the Choctaw Nation, Choctaw Casinos, and local management.

11.   Perform other duties as may be assigned.

 

MINIMUM

· Associate’s degree in hospitality or related field

· Obtain CLLM Certification

· Ability to work with several cleaning agents, tools and equipment and train in bloodborne pathogens and perform required bloodborne pathogens procedures

· Understand the processes of the laundry operation

· Be willing/able to perform job tasks of team members (except technical positions)

· Three (3) years hotel/laundry management experience in hotel industry
