Are you a hands-on leader who loves the outdoors and knows how to run a tight ship? Let’s talk!
We’re hiring a Property Care Manager to lead our landscaping crews with confidence, strategy, and a commitment to excellence. If you’ve got 3–5+ years of experience managing teams in landscaping or a similar service-based industry—and you thrive on building people up, solving problems, and getting results—you might be just who we’re looking for.
Our ideal Property Care Manager is a confident, hands-on leader with 3–5+ years of experience in landscaping operations or a similar service-based industry. They’ve managed multiple crews, understand the dynamics of outdoor service work, and are known for their ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and drive results. They thrive in dynamic environments, take ownership, and enjoy mentoring others. When they’re not working, they’re often outdoors—on the golf course, hiking trail, or tackling DIY projects—and active in their community. This person is motivated by challenge, growth, and the chance to build a high-performing team known for quality, efficiency, and profitability. They’re reliable, flexible during peak seasons, and never drop the ball on communication or planning. Disorganization, poor communication, and a rigid “clock-in, clock-out” mindset are not a match for this role—or our team culture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and mentoring multiple landscaping crews and supervisors
- Keeping jobs on schedule, on budget, and up to our quality standards
- Communicating clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensuring operational efficiency and safety on every job site
- Helping our team grow and improve, every season
You’re a great fit if you:
- Are highly organized and don’t let details slip through the cracks
- Communicate clearly and consistently—even when things get busy
- Love being outside and enjoy leading people toward a shared goal
- Can flex your schedule during peak seasons (you know the drill)
- Are motivated by results, responsibility, and continuous improvement
- Genuinely care about people—both customers and your team
This isn’t a fit if you:
- Struggle with organization or follow-through
- Avoid tough conversations or clear communication
- Prefer rigid schedules and aren’t open to seasonal demands
- Don’t enjoy leading others or working hands-on
Why you’ll love working here:
- Supportive, team-oriented culture focused on growth and innovation
- A stable, licensed, and respected company in a growing market
- Leadership opportunities and a real path to advance
- Based in Abilene, a family-friendly town with a strong community vibe
