Catch 31 General Manager – Base Salary + Bonus

Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt (Base + Bonus)
Availability: Open to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
About the Role:
Catch 31 is Virginia Beach’s premier oceanfront dining destination, serving fresh seafood, prime steaks, and craft cocktails in a lively, upscale setting. We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead restaurant, private dining, and room service operations. This role drives guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team culture while ensuring full compliance with brand and company standards.
What You’ll Do:

Lead daily restaurant operations with a hands-on, guest-first approach

Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing FOH team

Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Marketing on events, promotions, and menu updates

Achieve revenue, labor, and beverage cost targets

Ensure compliance with ABC laws, health regulations, and safety standards
What We’re Looking For:

5+ years Food & Beverage experience, including at least 2 years in management

Strong financial acumen and POS/inventory system knowledge
-
Proven leadership skills in a high-volume, upscale dining environment

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Qualifications
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree and/or extensive hotel/restaurant experience preferred
-
5+ years of progressive Food & Beverage experience, including 2+ years in management
-
Knowledge and understanding of ABC laws

Strong financial acumen and familiarity with point of sale and inventory systems

Reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills; brand systems knowledge preferred
-
Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
-
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
