Position Title: Athletics Operations Coordinator

Overview:

The Fox Chapel Area School District is seeking a highly organized and motivated Athletics Operations Coordinator to support the efficient, safe, and professional operation of our athletics programs. This part time role will work closely with the Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, administration, coaches, staff, and community partners to ensure the smooth execution of interscholastic athletic events and activities.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Previous athletic administrative and/or coaching experience at the high school level

• Basic knowledge of athletic program operations, procedures, and planning

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site administration and supervision for selected home/away athletic events in the absence of the Athletic Director/Assistant Athletic Director

• Ensure compliance with PIAA rules, district policies, and athletic handbook guidelines

• Coordinate and schedule athletic game workers for all contests

• Manage ticket sales, gate receipts, and related banking

• Oversee game-day setup, visiting team/officials’ coordination, and facility readiness

• Support special events such as senior nights and student engagement initiatives
• Assist with office operations as needed
