Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained
- Plan menus
- Order food and supplies based on camp occupancy, menu plan, existing inventory; schedule and receive deliveries
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
- Accommodate special dietary needs as required
- Grab-n-Go options
- Desserts and breads
- Ensure kitchen and storage areas are clean and organized at all times
- Maintain public dining area in a clean and well-stocked manner
Qualifications
- Food safety certification
- Reliable Transportation
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Cook
- Previous experience cooking in a remote location for large groups would be considered an asset
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and email
- Previous experience with inventory and ordering procedures would be considered an asset
- Self-motivated; able to do shift and weekend work
