Director of Integrated Supports to lead and oversee our Services, Medical, and Intake departments. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities (DDA). The Director will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to support integrated care, meet all regulatory requirements, and promote trauma-informed, community-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and daily oversight of the Services, Medical, and Intake teams
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging (DDA) rules, HCBS Settings Rule, and other regulatory requirements
- Work with managers to develop and update SOPs for service delivery, intake, and health coordination
- Oversee response to reportable events and support ongoing quality improvement efforts
- Promote teamwork between medical, behavioral, and support staff for whole-person care
- Support trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices across departments
- Review data to guide improvement and track service outcomes
- Build relationships with families, guardians, providers, and partners
- Represent the departments in executive meetings, audits, and strategic planning
- Coach and support staff to build strong, person-centered teams
- Serve in an on-call leadership role during evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis to respond to urgent matters related to service delivery or member care
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered in place of a formal degree
- Master’s in Social Work, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in DDA services, behavioral health, or related field
- Strong knowledge of HCBS, person-centered planning, and trauma-informed care
- Experience with Medicaid-funded programs such as CHOICES, ECF CHOICES, or 1915(c) Waivers preferred
- Familiarity with Tennessee DDA policies a plus
- Proven skills in staff supervision, service coordination, and managing across teams
- Comfortable working with data, compliance, and quality systems
- Licensure (RN, LCSW, etc.) is preferred but not required
