Audi of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Shop Foreman to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen".

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Ensuring the proper repair and servicing of all the vehicles taken in by the service department
  • Maintaining technician productivity at levels determined by service management.
  • Providing direct on-the-job assistance to technicians
  • Coordinating, and conducting training
  • Inspecting jobs for proper completion, and creating an environment for high productivity through motivational leadership and effective administration
  • Accomplish the production standards that have been established by the General Manager and the Service Director/Manager
  • Maintain contact with service customers on a timely basis and in a professional manner when needed
  • Report to customer any change in time promised and notify the customer of any additional repairs that may be required
  • Ensure that technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures
  • Prepare estimates when required, review any estimates with the Service Director/Manager before quoting
 

Here is what you will need:

  • High School Diploma/GED is required
  • Successfully complete MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), background check, and pre-employment drug test.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to make complex decisions in a timely manner.
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment, with 2-5 years of supervisor experience preferred, and Master Level credentials (e.g., ASE certification)
