Description
This is a full-time job is to provide support for small satellite offices.
50% of the time is phone and remote assistance, typically for issues like printers or scanners not working, exchange account issues, unexciting Windows and Office problems, VoIP phone help.
40% of the time is preventive software maintenance and schedule updates.
10% of the time is project work, wiring desks, installing and configuring access control (door control, intercom, card access system), camera systems.
Job Tasks
Fix scanning and printing problems, networking and Wi-Fi issues.
Set up port forwarding, troubleshoot DNS and DHCP issues.
Troubleshoot camera systems, look up recording and save to network.
Troubleshoot basic computer problems and assist users.
Set up and configure computers. Add users to Windows domain and Exchange, configure permissions, reset passwords.
Set up a network share and firewall settings on a Windows PC.
Document all work in work order system and documentation repository.

Requirements
- Experience in IT support, low-voltage wiring, or systems installation (CCTV, door access, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Strong decision-making and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and take initiative
