Position Description
Job Title: Student Assistant (Teaching/Research)
Department: Counseling
Reports To: Dr. Tameeka Hunter
Location: Remote via Zoom
Date: September 11, 2025 to August 21, 2026
Employment Status: Part Time; approximately 10 hours per week
Overview
Student Assistant for multiple courses, research projects, and tasks Standard Research Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with quantitative and/or qualitative research projects
- Conduct literature review/annotated bibliography/reference list development
- Assist with survey creation
- Collect and analyze data
- Maintain accurate records safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
- Attend project meetings
- Complete clerical updates to Canvas
- Assist with course tasks
Required Qualifications:

- Be a current PAU student; doctoral student from any discipline strongly preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines (occasionally quick ones)
- Proficient with APA formatting
- Be detail-oriented and responsive; have excellent written communication skills,
- Proficient with Qualtrics
- Comfort with Excel
