The Culture and Event Coordinator is responsible for leading and supporting organizational events, volunteer projects and initiatives at Bell Bank. This position will oversee the development, support and execution of assigned events and projects that align with the business objectives and strategies of company. This position will work both independently and collaboratively with teams across the organization, as well as with external partners and vendors to deliver exceptional event and volunteer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support and executes event strategies, project plans, goals and customized proposals for volunteer and organizational events inclusive of project team oversight, contracts, invoicing, processes and systems, data management and budgeting. Coordinates event communications between culture team, marketing and culture/HR leadership.
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet the goals of the project.
- Provides oversight and execution of key project plan segments for large-scale community events in areas such as: onsite volunteer and project management; engagement activities; registration; nonprofit and corporate and nonprofit partner engagement; vendor management and digital platform oversight.
- Supports and monitors award applications, tracking to ensure all deadlines met timely.
- Respond to employees’ questions, requests, and concerns in a prompt manner.
- Present solutions based on feedback to leadership when necessary.
- Provide flexibility to assist in other areas as needed.

Education, Experience, and Other Expectations
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning, management and execution
- A. in marketing or related field is preferred, equivalent work experience accepted
- Proven experience in supporting event strategies, objectives, goals and project plans that align with organizational and external partner priorities and strategies
- Volunteer/event staffing management experience
