Hybrid School Counselor bei Windsor Public Schools

• Lead and oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program that supports all students through a school counseling curriculum, individual student planning, developmental guidance lessons, responsive services, community partnership and referrals.
• Facilitate student academic, social/emotional and career development through a comprehensive school counseling program that is supported by the school administration through individual counseling, small group sessions, crisis interventions and referrals.
• Uses current district technology and tools to drive the tracking of student success and outcomes.
• Ensure successful implementation of Student Success Plans for all students.
• Promote parent engagement through conferences and group presentations including academic and social emotional engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, district resources, parents, community agencies and specialists to support the needs of students and parents.
• Facilitate the plans for students with 504 Accommodations and support students with IEPs.
• Schedule all courses using district scheduling tool and advocate for appropriate student placement.
• Assist with the registration and orientation  of students who are new to the school.
• Follow district protocol for maintaining accurate student records and communication with parents.
• Participate in the development of student’s behavior intervention plans and functional behavior assessments

• Bachelors and Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Previous experience preferred.
