We are seeking a team oriented, energetic, and creative educator to teach band and chorus at Sumner Memorial High School starting with the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must hold or be able to obtain a Maine Teacher Certification (614 Music) with a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check. Pay is based upon experience and level of education.
We are seeking a team oriented, collaborative, energetic, and creative 9-12 music, chorus, and band teacher. This full-time position will begin with the 2025-2026 school year. Our ideal candidate will work to improve and grow our secondary music programs; develop students' understanding and appreciation of the art of music; as well as identify, promote and develop instrumental and vocal musical expression. The successful candidate will have access to the most state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand new auditorium, band/choral room, and individualized practice rooms.
