About the role
In a nut-shell, you'll support the Managers and the wider team in following Atom's guidance within Health & Safety and Quality requirements as well as assisting with unloading and loading vehicles.
Essentials of the job
- Assist in Managing the workflow in a specified area to assist the relative Manager to obtain maximum operational efficiencies whilst maintaining regulatory compliance standards.
- Load and unload vehicles with drinks stock, ensuring that boxes and pallets are adequately secured and transported with care.
- Verify the identity of goods in and ensure they are transported to the right area of the warehouse, are labelled correctly, and logged on our electronic system.
- Ensure that goods for dispatch are correctly labelled, and loaded safely and carefully onto the correct vehicle.
- Ensure the completion of all relative policies for each job performed against training received.
- Help manage the inbound, outbound & onsite stock movements inline with quality, warehouse and compliance policies.
- Assist in carrying out underbond quality control checks on products arriving, being stored and dispatched from site.
- Report all non conformities to the line manager including, but not limited to product integrity, health and safety, quality & compliance.
- Work collaboratively with the broader Warehouse leadership teams and other departments in the business to deliver against planned and adhoc project deadlines.
- Ensure the safe and competent use of MHE whilst using & or observing
- Carry out any other duties requested by the Warehouse Leadership team
Requirements
Experience, skills and qualifications
- Experience within a Warehouse environment.
- Experience of forklift driving in a busy warehouse
- Current, valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklift licence
- Excellent level of manual dexterity.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Good level of written and spoken English, including the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse team of people.
- Good level of Maths
- Good basic understanding of IT, including some experience with Google or Microsoft software suits
- Strong team working and interpersonal skills.
- Appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity within the team.
- Good organisational skills and effective use of time.

Fixed-term contract until 28 November 2025 (with the possibility of an extension)
Working Hours: Full-time, 7.00am - 3.30pm, Mon-Fri.
Hourly rate: £13.00
