CDS is hiring immediately for two full-time Retail Product Stocker for Micro Markets.
Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
Schedule: Two schedules are available:
1. Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm & pay range: $16-18
2. Monday - Friday 4 pm - 11 pm & pay range: $18-20
Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required.

Job Summary
The Retail Product Stocker for Micro Markets plays a vital role in ensuring that micro makets are fully stocked, visually appealing, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to meeting inventory, merchandising, and sanitation goals.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Stocking and Inventory Management:
Replenish shelves and display cases in micro markets with food and beverage items according to plan-o-grams and retail manager standards.
Conduct daily inventory counts to monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low-stock items to the Retail Manager.
Ensure all products are rotated to maintain freshness and adhere to "First In, First Out" (FIFO) protocols.
Handle and store products following safety and food handling guidelines.
Merchandising and Visual Standards:
Maintain visually appealing displays by arranging products neatly according to plan-o-grams.
Ensure displays are free from clutter, fully stocked, and consistent with the branding and marketing standards of the company.
Collaborate with the Retail Manager to implement seasonal or promotional displays.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, including wiping down shelves, coolers, and display areas.
Ensure micro markets are free of debris, spills, or expired products.
Dispose of waste properly and follow sanitation protocols in accordance with health and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, including coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring the market is well-stocked and organized.
Respond to customer inquiries or issues in a professional and friendly manner.
Communicate customer feedback to the Retail Manager for continuous improvement.
Compliance and Reporting:
Follow company policies and procedures for inventory management, merchandising, and sanitation.
Complete and submit daily logs and reports on inventory counts, restocking needs, and cleaning tasks.
Assist in identifying and resolving potential issues, such as damaged or expired products.
Perform any other essential duties as assigned by management.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Requires mobility, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in varying kitchen or retail temperatures.
