SBCCDTA represents all academic instructors, regular and hourly, counselors, nurses and department chairpersons working in the San Bernardino Valley Community College District. The membership potential for the unit is approximately nine hundred members, with SBCCDTA representing approximately 223 full-time and 857 part-time staff. SBCCDTA’s organizing program includes membership recruitment training, organizational development training and budget financial officer training. The association continues to negotiate salary and benefit increases for its members as well as using the rights of the Educational Employment Relations Act (EERA) to protect its members and ensure fair treatment and due process for all.
