CTG is seeking to fill an R&D Project Manager opening for our client in Myerstown, Pennsylvania.
Location: Myerstown, Pennsylvania
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Support cross-functional project development teams consisting of subject matter experts from R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing, and Product Supply.
Lead project teams in support of the Medical Device and Combination Product portfolio, including new launches, design changes, technology development, industrialization, and technology/product transfers.
Plan and execute projects, managing value delivery, budgets, resources, and schedules while ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement rapid project changes as needed.
Utilize technical knowledge in production, engineering, regulatory, quality, and product development to support team initiatives and problem resolution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to initiate and execute projects effectively, delivering maximum value.
Communicate project plans, progress, and changes to a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management practices.
Provide team support during product change management activities in Windchill, including creating, revising, structuring, and approving product data and documents.
Maintain accuracy of project-related data within PlanView and other PM toolsets, including budgets, resource requirements, and status.
Engage with external development partners and suppliers as needed.

Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Expertise in new product launches, process development, and design controls within the medical device industry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively manage risk and navigate change.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience:
5+ years in technical, project, or functional management roles within the medical device industry.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
Hands-on experience with technology/product transfers, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Education:
BS/BA degree in a relevant technical or scientific field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
