Position Summary:
Slavic401K is looking for an experienced, hands-on and thought-provoking FP&A Director to build and lead from the ground up. This is a foundational role—the first FP&A hire—with high visibility and impact. You will be responsible for architecting all core FP&A deliverables, including building processes, designing reporting frameworks, KPI’s, dashboards, business cases, implementing planning systems, and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. Essential Functions:
• Lead the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights to drive growth and operational efficiency
• Design and publish monthly internal management highlighting operational, financial, and sales metrics and KPI’s
• Create a business partner relationship with Executive and Sr. Leadership to provide financial consultation and support.
• Own consolidated financial models and scenario planning framework
• Select, deploy, and administer FP&A system (e.g., Datarails, Vena, Planful, NSFB, etc).
• Actively collaborate with the Accounting team to improve monitoring accuracy and reporting.
• Perform and oversee acquisition analyses and business cases for product expansion
• Lead preparation of monthly/quarterly slides for Board Meetings and operational reviews
• Prepare Quarterly MD&A and financial presentation for lender & Investors
• Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
• Partner with Private equity sponsor on data requests and strategic initiatives
Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience building FP&A processes and infrastructure from scratch.
- Demonstrated success in implementing financial automation and process improvements.
- Exceptional business judgment, attention to detail and analytical/decision making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Flexibility and openness to change; comfort making decisions amidst ambiguity
- Expectation to challenge the status-quo
Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis
- Experience working as a business partner across all functions of the organization
- Willingness to perform hands-on analysis
- Prior FP&A experience in a private equity portfolio company
- Proficiency in Netsuite and BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Advanced excel skills including strong data manipulation skills
Education/Certification/License
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting related discipline required; MBA is a plus
Work Environment
- Modern office suite in office building located in Boca Raton, Florida.
- Extensive sitting and computer work.
- Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels.
- Work involves the operation of computer equipment and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions, as necessary.
- Potential for lifting, carrying, push, pull or otherwise move equipment up to 20 lbs. Stooping and bending the body downward and forward.
- When not in the office, must have the ability to work from home successfully including a secure, reliable Wi-Fi connection, excellent time management skills, and home workspace. This role will have a base pay range of $125,030-151,500. Please know, this is the base range only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for this role. This position is also eligible for annual performance bonus based on company and individual goals.
