Description
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to perform a high volume of cases at our state-of-the-art ASC and local hospital. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering top-tier care and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- High Surgical Volume: Engage in a robust surgical schedule with a high case mix, including minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a spine surgeon, PM&R physicians, and APPs to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Patient Education: Empower patients with knowledge about their conditions and treatment options to make informed decisions.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and contribute to team building and mentoring within the practice.
Outreach Clinics: Provide care at outreach clinics 2 times per month, extending our services to underserved communities in Northern and Central Arizona.

FBJ’s Spine Team utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The team includes:
- Dr. Ross Jones, DO - Spine Surgeon
- Dr. Marshall Meier, MD - PM&R Spine Specialist
- Dr. Nathan Swain, DO - PM&R Spine and Sports Medicine Specialist
- APP Team: Laurel Combs, FNP; Patrick Parten, PA-C; and Amanda Clementel, PA-C.

Requirements
· Education: Graduate of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program.
· Fellowship Training: Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery.
· Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
· Skills: Proficiency in minimally invasive spine techniques and a commitment to high-volume surgical practice.
· Patient-Centered Care: Dedication to providing exceptional care using a combination of surgical and non-surgical interventions.
