Responsibilities include:
- Production of goods in a scratch to finish bakery (ex. bread, buns, muffins, pasties, cakes, etc.)
- Providing customers with respectable, efficient, courteous service
- Following production guidelines to create high-level sales
- Ordering of products and supplies
- All duties associated with finishing and packing products, stocking shelves, rotation of products and inventory
Daily housekeeping duties
Adhering to all Evergreen Co-op policies and procedures
Performing other duties as assigned
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Minimum one year commercial baking experience in a food establishment
Self motivated, reliable, responsible, friendly and hard working
Raw food handling experience
Ability to handle sharp knives for food prep is required
Ability to handle multiple demands and make tough decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to cooperative values and principles
Sense of urgency and customer first attitude
