Pay Range: $60,847.80 to $78,821.08
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip is seeking a Communications Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll support internal communication initiatives by writing, editing, and distributing content that enhances the coworker experience and supports retention efforts. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with company values.
This position requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present information in a concise and engaging manner. You’ll work independently with general supervision and contribute to communication strategies that support our coworkers across the company.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit internal communications including intranet articles, FAQs, and resource materials.
- Ensure messaging aligns with Human Resources goals and is tailored to internal audiences.
- Recommend improvements for readability, inclusivity, and accessibility.
- Develop writing guides and toolkits for internal use,
- Partner with Knowledge Base Analysts and subject matter experts to plan and execute communications.
- Stay informed about coworker needs, especially those on the front lines.
- Provide proofreading and editing support to Human Resources partners.
- Maintain communication calendars and ensure compliance with privacy standards.
- Create visual assets such as infographics, flyers, templates, and branded documents.
- Ensure design and platform integration are cohesive and efficient.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years in communications, writing, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of writing and visual design for internal audiences.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, HRIS tools, and email platforms.
- Basic proficiency in InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, engaging content.
- Strong collaboration and customer service mindset.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday; daytime hours
