Hybrid Packaging Associate (Full Time) bei Bald Birds Brewing Company

As a Packaging Associate, you will be a part of the Packaging Team. You are an important part of the Bald Birds Fulfillment infrastructure and have a direct influence on the success of your department and your team. The Packaging Associate will be required to assure that all products are packaged correctly with passion and care for the product in mind. This position must assure quality and consistency with every package. The Packaging Associate reports to the Packaging Manager and the Director of Manufacturing Operations.

Your primary areas of responsibility are detailed below. Success in those areas will include, but not be limited to, the tasks outlined below, and your responsibilities may grow beyond this scope in the future.

Responsibilities

• Fold case trays and cartons as instructed 
• Continuously monitor and grab cans from the conveyor line and place into constructed case trays
• Stack completed cases from the end of the line onto pallets
• Ensure product quality by performing visual inspections and hands-on confirmation of full cans
• Discard all empty, low-fill or dented cans appropriately
• Place cans on the variety pack line appropriately when assigned 
• Install Paktech handles onto cans when required
• Work to ensure the smooth operation of the production line 
• Work as a team to improve efficiency
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment 
• Adhere to GMP and SOP guidelines
• Perform other packaging related tasks as directed by your supervisor

This job pays $16 to $19 per hour
