Join the 1st Franklin team! We are seeking a Regional Operations Director for our location in the Knoxville, TN area.

 

The Regional Operations Director (ROD) is responsible for directing all business development, operations, financial control, and compliance for all branches within assigned region to optimize business results. They are responsible for the motivation and development of all employees in their region, with direct responsibility for proper training and effective communication with the Branch Managers. The ROD apprises the OVP of activity, issues, and challenges within region.

 

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

 

Key Activities

 

Maintains Financial Control

  1. Responsible for Branch Profit & Loss performance and regional budget controls
  2. Reviews Branch performance against projected goals & objectives
  3. Ensures profitability of each Branch

Ensures Compliance within Region

  1. Adheres to all 1FFC policies and procedures
  2. Complies with all State and Federal regulations
  3. Completes required quarterly Branch Supervision document for each Branch in Division
  4. Makes recommendations to Policy and Procedures Committee regarding changes neede

Manages Branch oversight

  1. Performs periodic visits to Branches within Region
  2. Assists in personnel management including hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, and salary administration
  3. Ensures that communication is disseminated in a timely and efficient manner to all Branches within Region
  4. Follow up on all Audit results & recommendations

Monitors Lending and Collections

  1. Reviews Loan quality in each Branch
  2. Conducts Loan approval over Branch Manager limit
  3. Cultivates Real Estate Development within Region
  4. Responsible for ensuring that each Branch has the necessary elements to effectively lend & collect

Essential Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience as Branch Manager or equivalent experience
  • Ability to meet current Licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information
  • Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and greatly differing social and business settings
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgement
  • Action and result focused
  • Strong communication skills (verbal / written / interpersonal)
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite products
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile
